FOG Rules & Riding Guide : When everyone rides "In The Groove", everybody has a fantastic day! The riding is smooth and fast - it's a HIGH that takes all week to come down from!

So, to get the most from the ride, and to "Ride In The Groove", you and your mates need to get back home in one piece! So you must prepare your bike properly, wear full protective clothing, and ride "Smart & Safe".

FOG Rules...
1. Only overtake the rider in front of you if invited to do so

2. Only overtake bikes, cars & trucks on the LEFT hand side

3. Wear full protective gear

Group Riding Guide...
• It is important that we ride in a tight group as it makes it easier and faster to identify riders with a problem

• Leave room between you and the bike in front of you - especially coming into corners

• Position yourself so that the rider in front of you can easily see you in his mirrors

• You are responsible for the rider behind you! So keep checking your mirrors, and if they have disappeared/slowed down, flash the riders in front of you

• If the group has stopped on the side of the road - pull in - do NOT ride past

• Keep your focus on the road as far as you can see, and stay focused - Look out for camels, goats, donkeys etc

• Watch the leader for warning signals. If someone indicates or makes a warning signal, pass it on to the rider behind you

• If your skill levels allow, try to ride in one lane only and not weave across the lanes

Before Each Rideout...
• Check your chain alignment, tension and lubrication

• Check your tyre pressures

• Check your engine & hydraulic oil levels

• Fill your tank at the starting point

Legal...
• Carry your Drivers Licence and Vehicle Registration Card
